Here's something you don't hear often in Southern Gospel Music - A father and son duo. The LeBeaus are based out of Lexington, NC and travel full time with their music ministry.

Tim and Timmy have just completed a new CD entitled "Life's Railway." This is a new and exciting project for them. "Our journey is just beginning," says Tim. “Being on the road with my family, serving God, touching lives and ministering to people through song is my life. From a dad's point of view, it blesses me beyond words to be on stage with my son. I'm at a point in my life where I'm just beginning to understand the almighty power of God. I'm learning to stand on God’s promises...to have faith...real faith and get very serious about doing the work God has set before me and my family. I want Him to use us in a lost and dying world and be a part of bringing His children back home. Timmy has added so much to the ministry. He reaches an age group that I sometimes can't. Young adults are more apt to listen to people their own age. He's been a real inspiration for me.”

Timmy feels the same way about his dad. "We're a real close family. We're together all the time which I really enjoy. Most families vacation once a year. Our vacation lasts all year long. Every week we are in different cities and states meeting new people and getting blessed. My dad is the greatest dad and one of the best singers I've heard. I'm proud of him at home and on the stage. He has taught me to pray, to work hard, to keep trying to do better, and he always says, ‘I'm sorry’ or ‘Forgive me’ when he's wrong."

Timmy states the mission of the LeBeaus’ ministry. “My goal is to be the best for God. Not to just make a difference, but make a big difference. I want to complete every task God has for me and do it well. I want people to know that my God is a Living God that answers prayer today, heals the sick today, performs miracles today, and walks beside us everyday. I want to make a difference with people my age. Some people think that you really don't need to get serious about being a Christian until you're old. What most of them don't realize is the decisions we make between now and the next 10 years will affect us the most. Without God guiding us we make a mess of our lives.”

“I had an 18 year old brother that fell in love with an exchange student. The night before she was scheduled to return to Finland, (her home country) a group of people gave her a going away party. My brother left the party, went back to our home, took a gun and ended his life. I wonder how many churches we go to where things seem fine and really aren’t. Only heaven can reveal the difference our work for God will make. Not everyone is blessed with Christian parents. I'm thankful for mine. God has also blessed me with a beautiful Christian girl that I will marry this December.”

The LeBeaus are thankful for the call God has placed on our lives and ”We wouldn’t take nothing for our journey now.”
